16th Annual International Deming Research Seminar
22-23 February 2010
New York City
Vladimir Kvint and Andrew McKeon Headline Deming Seminar
Experts in emerging markets and climate change will usher in two days of presentations by academics and practitioners who gather from around the world to share their ideas and explore Dr. W. Edwards Deming’s theory of management in a wide-ranging context. The forum is The 16th Annual International Deming Research Seminar, February 22-23 in NYC.
Dr. Vladimir Kvint, the world’s leading expert on emerging markets, author of 21 books and more than 350 articles, recipient of numerous international awards and honorary doctorates, and President of the International Academy of Emerging Markets, will address how our world global crisis affects emerging markets.
Andrew McKeon, a former systems engineer and derivatives expert, now principal of carbonRational, will share his ideas on the need for transformation of corporate management to accomplish a carbon-neutral world. He believes it will call for skillful management, informed by Deming’s ideas.
Twenty-five other speakers that link Deming’s work to the academic literature and to the works of other great thinkers, extend or expand Dr. Deming’s work, or describe applications of Deming’s management ideas, will round out the program. See agenda for details.
This seminar is co-sponsored by The W. Edwards Deming Institute, The Deming Scholars MBA Program at Fordham University, and The Deming Cooperative.
